The Synergy Cloud deal with WeatherNet completed on 30.04.2021 for an undisclosed sum. The move represents the further expansion of the data and technology arm of the Claims Consortium Group business, highlighting where the Group sees future growth opportunities as it builds upon its strong-hold providing industry-leading data and software solutions to the UK insurance market and beyond.
CEO and Founder of Claims Consortium Group, Jeremy Hyams, comments, “We are thrilled to welcome WeatherNet to Synergy Cloud and the Group. As one of the most recognised and respected technology brands in the industry, the WeatherNet team have been pioneering claims data for over 25 years. The acquisition supports the Group’s wider growth strategy, enabling us to add a new dimension to our technology portfolio.”
The acquisition comes as Synergy Cloud also prepares to launch a ground-breaking sophisticated workflow technology that delivers a truly end-to-end solution for claims management.
Jeremy continues, “Designed by claims handlers, for claims handlers, this is first-of-its-kind, next generation claims technology. We’re harnessing the mass of technology and data talent we have within the business to revolutionise the way claims, and other services, are managed. The acquisition of WeatherNet, coupled with our product launch, adds to the growing cluster of exciting technology businesses around the Taunton and wider South West region.”
Established in 1996, Claims Consortium Group has grown from three to over 270 employees. Today, from its HQ in Taunton, Claims Consortium Group is one of the industry’s leading providers of property claims handling and claims workflow technologies.
